This Shipping Policy explains how Vilayam Exports & Imports Pvt Ltd (“Vilayam Farms”, “we”, “us”, “our”) processes and delivers orders placed through www.vilayamfarms.com. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Serviceable Areas
We currently ship pan-India through reputed logistics partners. In the rare case that your delivery PIN code is not serviceable by our courier partners, our team will contact you to arrange an alternative or process a full refund.
Courier Partners
We dispatch orders through trusted courier services including Delhivery, BlueDart, DTDC, India Post, and other reputed national couriers. The courier partner is selected at our discretion based on the destination PIN code, parcel weight, and fastest available transit time.
Order Processing Time
Orders are processed and dispatched within one (1) business day from the time of order confirmation, subject to product availability and harvest schedule. Orders placed on Sundays or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
Since our mangoes are sourced fresh from farms, dispatch timing may occasionally depend on harvest readiness to ensure you receive produce at peak quality.
Delivery Timeline
Standard delivery typically takes 3 to 4 business days from the date of dispatch, depending on your location.
For customers within Hyderabad, we offer same-day or next-day delivery on eligible orders, subject to order time and product availability.
Please note: delivery timelines are estimates provided by our courier partners and may be affected by weather, regional disruptions, courier delays, or events beyond our reasonable control. We will not be liable for delays caused by such circumstances, but we will assist in tracking and resolution.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on order value, weight, and destination, and are displayed at checkout before payment is completed.
Free shipping is offered on all orders above ₹999 (within serviceable PIN codes). Orders below ₹999 will incur applicable shipping charges as shown at checkout.
Order Tracking
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a confirmation message containing the tracking ID and courier details via SMS, WhatsApp, or email. You can use this tracking ID on the respective courier’s website to track your shipment in real time.
Handling of Fresh Produce
Our mangoes are carefully hand-picked, packed, and shipped using protective, ventilated packaging suitable for ambient transit. We do not use cold-chain shipping. Mangoes are shipped slightly raw to ensure they ripen optimally by the time they reach you.
Minor variations in size, colour, and ripeness are natural for farm-fresh produce and are not considered defects. We recommend storing your mangoes in a cool, dry place and consuming them within a few days of receipt for best taste.
Failed Delivery Attempts
If our courier partner is unable to deliver your order on the first attempt due to the customer being unavailable, incorrect address, or unreachable contact number, a second delivery attempt will be made. If the second attempt also fails, the order will be cancelled and the parcel will be returned to us (RTO).
In the case of cancellation due to repeated failed delivery, refunds (if applicable) will be processed after deducting forward and return shipping costs and any spoilage incurred, given the perishable nature of the product.
Damaged or Wrong Items
If your shipment arrives damaged, leaking, or contains the wrong item, please refer to our Returns & Refunds section in the Terms & Conditions. A clear, unedited unboxing video is mandatory to raise any complaint.
